Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. She has been on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known by the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, following small parts that she acted on Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. After 2012 she had been performing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar shows. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following the win of an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea was presented with the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is an Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Her birth date was the 16th of March, 1984. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide aged three. However, she didn't discover the reason for her father's death until she was 13 years old. She adopted the stage name Bea in honor of her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea was raised with her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and a former professional racer. Her parents were obsessed by horses and racing. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her early years. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
